Villa, Côte d’Azur

This project involved the design and planning submission for a pool, pool house and terrace area for a cliff top villa in a highly restricted conservation area.

As the client wished to retain full use of the terrace, the MZA design involved creating an innovative pool using a system devised by Aqualift, with a hydraulic floor which can be lifted to completely cover the water, retaining all of the terrace space when the pool is not in use. Planning permission was granted in 2009 and the works completed in 2010. 

In 2015-2016 and 2018-2019 MZA carried out the complete renovation & extension of two further villas for the client.
