Relais & Châteaux Hotel Le Mas Candille Renovation

In 2014-2017 Michael Zander Architecture continued their close relationship with the 5 star luxury hotel Le Mas Candille in Mougins (for whom we carried out the renovation of their Michelin starred restaurant and bar and created an extension housing 6 suites), with a programme of renovation of the hotel’s bedrooms over three years.

In keeping with the image of the 18th century “mas”, the design evokes the spirit of a charming country manor house, with the creation of wall panelling and fabric hangings, bronze light fixtures and bespoke furniture made in France.

In 2020 MZA carried out a feasibility study for further significant extensions to the hotel.
