Factory and Offices, Chaveyriat

MZA was appointed to design the production, lacquering & assembly workshops for the carpentry company Charmeil. The project had a surface area of 2000m² and 620m² of office and communal areas on two levels in an artisanal area in Chaveyriat, near Lyon. Preserving the quality of the raw materials used in manufacturing, ensuring good natural lighting without altering the varnishes & lacquers, and establishing an efficient ventilation system were key considerations for the project. The building permit for this stylish factory was obtained in 2019. Construction underway, MZA continued to provide consultant services for aesthetic design until completion in 2020.
